    • @mossman381
      @mossman381 День тому

      @@terryk3118 I am not sure why the doors open that way. Polaris has done that since the Ranger 800 so it's been awhile. My guess would be it gives you more room to get in. The wide opening is near where your legs slide in. Maybe it just feels that way. I would hope Polaris engineers have tried it the other way.

    Got a 2003 with pretty much the same setup but it took getting almost to the end to figure out how you got the gas tank out in the first place but the hint was when you said "...oh yeah, I gotta put back in the DRIVESHAFT!" For the 1000's of frustrated S10 owner with a 2002-2004 YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE DRIVESHAFT OUT (or in my case drop the back half) IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE TANK OR EVEN LOWER IT. Absolutely ZERO clearance on EITHER side to shift the tank w/the lower bracket attached and get it out WITHOUT REMOVING THE DRIVESHAFT. Pretty important detail that's frustrated the crap outta a LOT of us - even the service manual doesn't mention that (it just assumes). BUT when you drop the shaft, it's a pretty straightforward job. The rear strap on the drivers side is angled and HIDDEN behind the tank so you MUST completely REMOVE the entire tank IF you have to replace the rear strap. Have watched a LOT of your S10 videos for yrs. YOU deserve a STANDING OVATION SIR! Lessons learned - Keep it simple. Right to the point and use SIMPLE LOGIC. THANK YOU!!!

    I’m wanting to do the lift spindles on the front of my 2000 Chevy blazer. Do you think if I just do that and don’t mess with the back it will look alright? I know the back sits higher now than the front but I want the front to sit higher than the back to clear the 31” tires?!

    • @mossman381
      @mossman381 19 днів тому

      I think just lifting the front will look funny. Vehicles are not supposed to be higher in the front. When people first started to raise the front of trucks it was called Cali-lean. Now they have different names for it, but it still looks ridiculous, I think. I get leveling a truck. It really is your decision because it your truck. You can customize it the way you want.

      It had a 2.5" lift on it. Front was done with leaf springs and rear was done with blocks. I might have a video that tells the part # for the front leaf springs. Not sure because it's been awhile.

    I refilled my 05 yukon after 52 ounces leaked out. It holds 64 ounces total. I ran out of auto trak fluid after 26 ounces and made a mix of 50/50 merc3 atf to 10w30 motor oil for the rest. So far so good.

    I have a KM130 and the trimmer and tiller attachment for garden beds. They advertise it as 1.9 hp, but that’s really deceiving. This thing would destroy a 1.9 hp 2 stroke. I’d like for them to advertise torque instead of horsepower, because that’s the number that really matters.
